The Qualicum Beach Farmers Market will be operating nearby from 8:30 am until noon. All the stores in Qualicum are open for your shopping pleasure. A pancake breakfast is being held at the Qualicum Beach Royal Canadian Legion at 180 Veterans Way, just off Memorial Avenue.

There are 3 stages with a variety of bands and eclectic local actis to dance and sing along; from Pop, Rock & Folk. For your additional amusement, keep an eye out for Marching Bands, Cloggers & Belly Dancers!

Yes, there is entertainment for all ages & a “Kids Zone” for the younger set.

Ice Carvers come from Alberta, Vancouver, Victoria and locally. They are carving under unusual conditions of warm weather and short hours! Carvers are judge by esteemed members of the public for 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place and People’s Choice.

There is a panel of judges that decides on the best amateur & best professional team. The judges mark the chili entries anonymously bu numbered entries - even they don't know whose spicy food they're voting on. The public votes for its “favorite” and that team wins the coveted “Peoples Choice Award”.

There are numerous parking lots around town & on adjacent streets.

Saturday, May 6nd, 2017 from 11am to 3pm.

The chili is judged in two ways. Three well-qualified people judge a sample from each team & award 1st, 2nd & 3rd. The public also votes for their favorite and the winner receives the “Peoples Choice Award”.

We sell wrist bands for $5 each and provide you with a spoon. You then go your choice of booths to sample the teams chili offerings.

Yes, teams must comply with Vancouver Health Guidelines.
